Leidos nabs $37M contract to support Army aviation R&D center

Leidos has won a $37 million contract to support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center.

Leidos has won a $37 million contract to support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center.

The center is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms, Leidos said in a release.

Under the contract, the company will provide electrical and mechanical engineering; systems engineering; prototype development, fabrication and integration; and technical program support.

Leidos will also provide a range of engineering aviation and prototyping support for U.S. Forces in Afghanistan.
