Lockheed promotes two corporate officers

Lockheed Martin promoted Patricia Lewis to senior vice president of human resources and Jennifer Whitlow as senior vice president of communications.

Both also were elected as corporate officers. Their new positions take effect Jan. 1.

Lewis has been with the company since 2011, most recently serving as vice president of HR for the Information Systems & Global Solutions business. She also had served as vice president of HR in the Electronic Systems business.

She will replace John Lucas, who is set to retire Feb. 1.

Whitlow joined the company in 2010 and was most recently vice president of corporate communications. She also was once Lockheed’s vice president of media relations and chief spokesperson.

Her new position is an elevation of her current post.
