Tech incubator launches Alexandria location

Tech incubator The Bunker is launching a location in Alexandria, Va., where it will continue to target veteran-owned tech startups and entrepreneurs, according to Fed Biz Daily.

The Bunker launched in Chicago in 2013 with 19 veteran-led businesses going through a six-month program that included access to capital and mentorship, Fed Biz reported.

The Bunker will come to Alexandria, Va., as part of the Alexandria Veterans Business Center, which assists transitioning service members in employment and new business. The incubator will be headed up by business center director Emily McMahan, an Iraq veteran, Fed Biz reported.
