Carahsoft wins $14.5M enterprise software support contract

Carahsoft Technology Corp. will continue to provide enterprise software and support for the Veterans Affairs Department.

The VA awarded the follow-on contract to Carahsoft for VMware software subscription support, which is installed throughout the department’s virtual server infrastructure.

The recompete contract is a one-year, firm-fixed-price delivery order that is worth $11.5 million. Including the optional line items, the contract’s value increases to $14.5 million.

VA issued the award through the General Services Administration’s SmartBUY program’s blanket purchase agreement.

The VA announced the award Oct. 10.
