Naval warfare base seeks IA certification, training

The Naval Surface Warfare Center in Corona, Calif., is seeking information assurance certification and accreditation (C&A) support and training services.

The scope of the firm-fixed price contract is for system security C&A documentation and validation. The center requires independent validation services to ensure proper security baselines are adequate guidance. It also has a requirement for its systems managers to participate in continuous learning training in advanced systems support to maintain their IA certifications.

The scope of this work is for system security C&A documentation and validation and for the NSWC Corona’s network system and advanced systems training for its systems administrators and certifiers.

The IA C&A support will be in the areas of engineering, technical, information assurance and data management capabilities.

Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona released its solicitation Aug. 23. Responses are due by Sept. 2
