Preferred Systems Solutions acquires small professional services firm

Preferred Systems Solutions (PSS) has acquired Global Services & Solutions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Arlington, Va.-based Global Services & Solutions brings to PSS expertise in its core competencies, which include acquisition and program support, engineering and technical expertise and consulting services.

The acquisition also strengthens PSS’s position within the defense market, the company said in a release.

Global Services & Solutions president Jim Ballard will become president of PSS Federal Services Group.
