Northrop Grumman has won a subcontract from Peter Dohle Schiffahrts-KG to provide Integrated Bridge Systems to seven new bulk carrier ships.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract.

Founded in 1956, Peter Dohle Schiffahrts-KG is a provider of shipping services.

The Integrated Bridge systems include navigation, voyage data recorders and radio systems, as well as radars, compass systems, echosounders, speed logs and a steering control system.

Installations will begin during the second half of 2014, the company said.
