Serco wins $9M contract to support C4ISR capability on MRAP vehicles

Serco Inc. has won a $9 million contract to support the C4ISR capabilities on the Navy’s Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles.

The one-year contract was contracted out by the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Command System Center Atlantic.

MRAP vehicles are designed to protect soldiers from IED ambushes, Serco said in a release.

Under the contract, which Serco said extends efforts to enhance communication systems on MRAP vehicles, the company will install, integrate, repair and provide maintenance training on the C4I equipment and systems deployed in MRAP vehicles.
