Haystax acquires cybersecurity, network management firm

Haystax Technology has acquired NetCentrics in a move that bolsters its cybersecurity and network management capabilities.

The acquisition will allow the companies to leverage a multi-billion dollar market opportunity, Haystax said in a release.

The companies will target cybersecurity, analytics, cloud computing, IT infrastructure modernization and secure mobility solutions, focusing on delivering next generation disruptive products and services, Haystax said.

NetCentrics will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Haystax, and the two companies together will have offices in Northern Virginia, Northern California, Raleigh, N.C., and Sierra Vista, Ariz.

“We have very strong cultural alignment and focus on bringing leading edge technology to our customer’s most difficult missions by providing differentiated solutions with innovation and agility,” said William B. Van Vleet III, CEO of Haystax.

The McLean Group served as advisor to NetCentrics for this transaction.
