ViON Corp. taps new senior director of cyber

ViON Corp. has named Richard Breakiron senior director of cyber solutions, where he will advance the company’s market position as a provider of cloud solutions and IT infrastructure.

He joins ViON Corp. from the Defense Information Systems Agency, where he served as executive program director for the Joint Regional Security Stack. Before that, he served as the network capacity domain manager with the HQDA CIO/G-6, ViON said in a release.

The company wanted to hire Breakiron because of his expertise in network modernization efforts. “We all recognize that these networks are the backbone on which everything else in the DOD is supported, from logistics and readiness, to lowering battlefield risk for our soldiers,” said Tom Frana, ViON CEO.
