Citrix hires new senior director for DOD

Citrix has named Mike Singer senior director for Department of Defense.

In his new role, will lead the company’s defense team and interface with Citrix’s product teams on the requirements of the federal market.

Singer joins Citrix from Dell Software, where he led the sales efforts in the federal government market for the technologies that Dell acquired with Qwest Software, Citrix said in a release. Before Dell, Singer served as president at Distributed Solutions Inc.

He has also held positions at Avaya Federal, Adobe Systems and Sun Microsystems.
