DynCorp finds new CEO in L-3 vet

DynCorp International has found a new CEO in S. Gordon Walsh, effective July 21. Walsh succeeds Steven Gaffney who has served as CEO since August 2010.

“Gordon will build on DI’s strong industry position while continuing our legacy of operational excellence,” said Chan Galbato, lead director of Delta Tucker Holdings Inc., DynCorp’s parent.

Walsh will assist the company in entering new markets, the company said.

Before joining DynCorp, Walsh held positions at L-3 Communications, Lockheed Martin, Loral, and KPMG Peat Marwick.
