Deltek boosts presence in A&E industry with latest acquisition

Deltek has acquired Axium in a move that advances Deltek’s presence in the architecture and engineering industry.

The acquisition was strategic in that Axium’s architecture and engineering customers need an integrated and powerful ERP system that can be implemented quickly and managed in cost effective manner with minimal IT investment, which Deltek can assist with, the company said.

“Acquiring Axium is part of our ongoing commitment to offer solutions that power the front and back offices of A&E firms of all sizes,” said Mike Corkery, president and CEO of Deltek

“Deltek and Axium are market-leading software companies that have a very unique focus – accelerating and improving the core business processes of architecture and engineering firms,” said Chris Heim, CEO of Axium.

“No other software provider in the world today has the A&E expertise, revolutionary project-based capabilities and customer list that the combined organization can offer,” said Dan Mayleben, CFO and COO of Axium.
