SAIC nabs $14M ENCORE II task order for software, engineering services

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $14 million task order to provide software and engineering services to the U.S. Transportation Command, Directorate of Acquisition.
The task order was won under DISA’s ENCORE II contract vehicle, which supports the Defense Department’s transformation to a network-centric environment which seeks to improve situational awareness by enhancing how the military services share information.
SAIC’s software and engineering services will support Integrated Booking System Software development which will support the Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command.
Under the order, SAIC will provide software maintenance, development, configuration management, area manager support, training, implementation, documentation, technical support, and project management, the company said in a release.
Work will take place at Scott Air Force Base, III.
