Northrop transitions in new VP, Contracts and Pricing

Northrop Grumman has named Diane Balderson vice president of contracts and pdricing, where she will provide oversight to all companywide contracts and pricing policy, as well as be responsible for the company’s contract risk review process.

Balderson succeeds Harry Lee, who is retiring from the company. In the meantime, Lee will help Balderson transition into her role, and Balderson will not assume this position until the transition is completed, Northrop Grumman said in a release.

Balderson joins the company from the Naval Air Systems Command where she served as executive director/assistant commander for contracts, being the first civilian to lead the NAVAIR contracting organization. Before NAVAIR, Balderson worked at the Environmental Protection Agency.
