Raytheon wins $12.6 million jammer development modification

Raytheon has won a $12.6 million modification to a Navy next-gen jammer development contract.

Raytheon will support the technology development phase of the Next Generation Jammer Program, working to produce a replacement for the aging ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System for integration on the EA-18G tactical aircraft.

Funds in the amount of $9,969,811 were obligated at the time of the award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year, and work is slated to finish February 2016.
