Micro Focus names new SVP of federal business

Micro Focus has named Dave Vano senior vice president of its federal business unit, where he will oversee all Micro Focus federal business operations and the ongoing development of new solutions for the federal market.

Vano was most recently vice president of worldwide inside sales and demand generation for the company. Before joining Micro Focus, Vano worked at Attachmate Corp. and BMC Software in various sales and technical executive positions.

Vano also served more than 20 years of combined active duty and reserve service, retiring as a Navy reservist.
