VMware names new public sector channels director

VMware has named Laura Davis as the director of public sector channels, where she will lead a nationwide sales team and drive company strategy.

In her new role, Davis will drive strategy and execution within the company’s federal, state, local and education channel partner ecosystem, the company said in a statement.

She joins VMware from NetApp. Before that, she worked at Cisco in a number of leadership roles.
