General Dynamics wins $11M contract to modernize submarines

General Dynamics has won an $11 million to provide the Navy with non-nuclear maintenance work for submarines homeported at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton.
This contract supports the New England Maintenance Manpower Initiative.
Under the contract, General Dynamics will provide overhaul, repair and modernization services in support of nuclear submarines, floating dry-docks, support and service craft and other platforms and equipment at the submarine base.
