Former Lockheed exec Kubasik tapped as president, COO of Seabury Group LLC

Former Lockheed Martin chief operating officer and CEO in waiting has landed a new leadership positin with the Seabury Group LLC, an investment banking firm.

Christopher Kubasik has been named president and chief operating officer, where he will be tasked with helping the company advance into the aerospace and defense sector.

Prior to this appointment, Kubasik served as senior advisor to Seabury.

As president and COO, he will spearhead the company’s strategic initiative to integrate its investment banking, management consulting and IT software products and services into a full-service package for current and prospective clients, the company said in a release.

Before Seabury, Kubasik was vice chairman, president and COO of Lockheed Martin, but left the company after allegations of misconduct. He was in line to become the company's CEO and chairman. Before Lockheed, Kubasik worked at Ernst & Young.
