Insitu nabs drone support contract

Insitu Inc. has picked up an $8.3 million contract to operate, support and maintain Marine Corps UAVs.
The Bingen, Wash.-based company will provide hardware and services to support small tactical RQ-21A UAVs, supplying spare and consumable parts as well as in-theatre field service representatives to supplement Marine Corps operators.
Funding, obligated in the amount of $8,355,422 at the time of the award, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
