ASRC Federal Services has picked up a $40 million Naval Research Laboratory contract to provide satellite systems services.
The five-year contract entails satellite tracking, command and control, data collection and site facilities management at the Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Charles County, Md., ASRC noted in a news release.
The Blossom Point facility provides command and control for the government’s research and development satellites, and facilitates connectivity through the Air Force Satellite Control Network and various Naval Research Laboratory and other government assets.
