Chertoff Group promotes five insiders to new posts

The Chertoff Group has made five internal promotions in order to better manage its existing lines of business and develop new opportunities for growth.

The Chertoff Group has made five internal promotions in order to better manage its existing lines of business and develop new opportunities for growth.

Nat Fogg, Jason Kaufman and Brian White have been promoted to principals, Ben Dower has been promoted to director, and Brendan Mulroy has been named an associate.

Fogg joined the company in 2009 and has helped grow the firm’s M&A services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kaufman joined the company in 2011 as managing director and head of the firm’s investment banking services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

White joined the company in 2010 as director, and was promoted to managing director and head of consulting services in December 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, and an MPA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

Dower joined the company in 2012 as an associate, and has helped clients grow their enterprise while supporting multiple M&A transactions involving clients in the national security and government services sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Mulroy joined the company in 2012 and has supported both strategic consulting and security services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the George Washington University.
