Lockheed Martin has won a $84.5 million contract to provide the Navy with paveway II Enhanced Laser Guided Training Rounds, or ELGTR.
The company will also provide shipping containers, logistics and product support.
ELGTR emulates cockpit indications, release and terminal characteristics of the paveway II laser guided weapon systems to provide affordable, high-performance aircrew training without depleting paveway II laser guided bomb tactical inventory, the company said in a release.
