CMS looking for small businesses to support Medicare, Medicaid functions

The Health and Human Services Department is looking for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businsses, and women-owned small businesses to provide Enterprise System Development in support of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid, according to a recent sources sought notice.

The Health and Human Services Department is looking for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businsses, and women-owned small businesses to provide enterprise system development support of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid, according to a recent sources sought notice.

The Enterprise System Development, or ESD, contract encompasses the full range of mission support capabilities that are needed for the centers’ chief operating officer, chief information officer, and chief technology officer to operate, maintain and modernize the centers’ systems with a priority on enterprise approaches.

The contract will support critical Medicare, Medicaid and Affordable Care Act Federal Healthcare Marketplace business functions.
