Raytheon wins $10.4M upgrade to Patriot missile system

Raytheon has won a contract with the U.S. Army to upgrade the Patriot surface-to-air missile system.

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems has won a $10.4 million contract modification to provide the U.S. Army with Radar Digital Processor Upgrade kits for the Patriot missile system.

The Patriot is a surface-to-air missile system used by the United States and several allies including Egypt, Germany, Taiwan, Greece and Israel.

With the modification, the cumulative value of this contract is $21.2 million, the Defense Department said in a release.
