Encrypt your cloud data

One misconception about the cloud is that it’s secure between you and your service provider, but you must not forget that your data in the cloud is still your responsibility, USA Today reported.

There will always be a risk to cloud, especially considering that, in order to provide fast service and scalability, cloud service providers run highly virtualized environments.

That’s why you have to look into encryption for your cloud. Such technologies already exist that are optimized to work with the cloud, USA Today reported. If your provider doesn’t have an answer to this question of security, it might be time to find a new one.
