TechTeam adds to executive suite

Mears and James added as VPs

TechTeam Government Solutions Inc. has named Gary Mears and Bill James to executive posts at the company.

Mears was named senior vice president of the Vector Research Center for Enterprise Performance. He replaces W. Deane Stanley III, who is retiring. The center specializes in modeling and simulation, logistics modernization, business transformation, and acquisition and program management. TechTeam created the center in 2007 when it acquired NewVectors.

Company officials named James vice president of business development. He is a former member of the federal government’s Senior Executive Service and served as director of architecture at the Air Force. He also worked at the Defense Information Systems Agency, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Transportation Command.

At TechTeam, he will be responsible for business development, including new business, sales operations and marketing.
