Clinton Rubin acquires McConnell International

Clinton Rubin LLC has purchased McConnell International LLC., a public-sector consulting firm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition will expand Clinton Rubin's presence in the government sector, company officials said. The two organizations are compatible in that they both provide executive-level consulting and support services, they added.

Clinton Rubin is a consulting firm that specializes in applying private-sector best practices to help government executives solve mission-critical problems.

After the acquisition, McConnell International, of Washington, D.C., will continue to focus on the government sector. The firm's federal-sector clients include the Homeland Security and Treasury departments, as well as other financial services agencies. Bruce McConnell, the firm's founder and a former information technology chief at the Office of Management and Budget, will remain active in the organization.

Clinton Rubin, of Trevose, Pa., offers a wide array of consulting services, including strategy development, turnaround management, public/private partnering, finance and human resources transformation, and merger integration management. It also provides assistance on outsourcing, enterprise resource planning and complex systems implementations.
