With this issue of Washington Technology, we launch a revampedmagazine that we believe will bring you more insight into thepeople, companies and issues that drive the government informationtechnology market.Our mission remains the same: provide you with the news and informationthat help you succeed.When we made the transition from a biweekly magazine to a monthly one,we knew that our approach in print had toevolve. We decided that nothing was sacred,and we examined each part of the magazineand asked the critical question: What value arewe bringing?One of the key changes is the Upfront section,where we analyze the top 10 stories fromour Web site in the "Stories you are following"feature. We're also providing critical insight through our new Survival Guidefeature, in which we ask industry leaders for their thoughts on an importanttopic. In this issue, the topic is how to live under a continuing resolution.At the front of the magazine, we're launching the "To-Do List." We identifythe critical events you should attend and the important people you need tomeet and provide shortcuts to vital reading material.We know some of the things we try might not work over the long haul, soyour feedback is crucial.
