ABSG Consulting wins Coast Guard tech work

ABSG Consulting Inc. will assist the Coast Guard Research and Development Center under a new contract.

ABSG Consulting Inc. will assist the Coast Guard Research and Development Center under a five-year, $46.4 million contract.

Under the terms of the contract, ABSG will provide systems engineering and technical assistance services to the Coast Guard center, according to the Federal Business Opportunities Web site.

The services will enable the center to perform its mission as an adviser to the newly consolidated Coast Guard Acquisition Directorate.

The directorate oversees a portfolio of eight major programs and more than 20 major projects.

ABSG, of Houston, provides rational engineering and science- and technology-based solutions to the government and commercial sectors.
