Who's on first?


Carleton Jones joined Indus Corp. as vice chairman
to help the Vienna, Va., company with strategic
planning. Jones has led several companies in the
government market, most recently Multimax Inc.,
which Indus acquired last year.

Donald General, the former chief information officer
overseeing the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet,
joined Caelum Research Corp. as vice president of
information technology heading the Rockville, Md.,
company's Hampton Roads operations in
Chesapeake, Va.

Roy Cales, former Florida state CIO, joined
National Strategies Inc. as managing director of the
Washington consulting firm's technology sector.

Chris O'Ferrell joined Command Information Inc.
as vice president of security services and will lead
the company's new network security practice in
Herndon, Va. O'Ferrell was chief executive officer of
IT security firm Idealogica Inc., recently acquired by
Command Information.

William Mackenzie joined laser technology developer
Novalux Inc. as chief operating officer.
Mackenzie comes to the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based
Novalux from Oxford Semiconductor Inc., where he
was chief executive officer.

Walter Munnikhuysen joined Bethesda, Md.-based Catapult Technology Ltd. in the newly created position of associate vice president of enterprise solutions. Munnikhuysen most recently was senior vice president for operations at CSSI Inc.

Jessica Herrera-Flanigan joined Monument Policy Group LLC as a partner. Herrera-Flanigan, most recently staff director and general counsel for the House Homeland Security Committee, was formerly senior counsel at the Justice Department's Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section.

Jeff Kristick joined Plateau Systems Ltd. as senior vice president of marketing. Kristick comes to the Arlington, Va.-based talent management software and services provider from Tibco Software Inc., where he was vice president of product marketing.

Fred Blackburn joined Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. as vice president. Blackburn will support the McLean, Va., consulting firm's national security and intelligence service business. Blackburn most recently led the intelligence community consulting business at Northrop Grumman IT TASC Inc.

Samuel Visner joined Falls Church, Va.-based Computer Sciences Corp. as vice president of strategy and business development for enforcement, security and intelligence. Visner most recently was senior vice president and director of strategy and business development for Science Applications International Corp.
