SYS to aid Navy with shipboard training

SYS Technologies Inc. has won a contract from the Navy to provide shipboard training systems. The one-year task order is worth about $1.5 million.

SYS will support the Navy's Program Executive Office for shipboard training systems by providing program management, technical documentation, and system safety analysis and documentation. The company also will be responsible for engineering technical support involving communications systems.

SYS is a provider of information connectivity solutions that enable situational awareness and real-time collaboration.

SYS recently entered into a merger agreement with Kratos Defense and Security Solutions Inc. Both companies are based in San Diego.
