NCI to support Transportation Command

NCI Inc. will provide support for classified information systems to the U.S. Transportation Command under a three-year contract valued at $7.6 million.
The contract requires that NCI of Reston, Va., will consolidate services and facilitate the standardization of services in both classified and non-classified environments.

The company also will help the organization make optimum use of its resources and reduce cost of operations for the systems.

The contract win represents new work for the company, NCI said.

The U.S. Transportation Command provides mobility support for the military forces. The commands assets include ships, aircraft, railcars and associated infrastructure.

NCI ranks No. 96 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
