ManTech to aid Navy with warfare analysis

Mantech International Corp. won a $15.7 million contract to help the Naval Air Systems Command with warfare analysis, the Defense Department said.

Mantech International Corp. won a $15.7 million contract to help the Naval Air Systems Command with warfare analysis, the Defense Department announced yesterday.

Under the terms of the contract, ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. will assist Navair's Warfare Analysis and Integration Department by providing warfare analysis, modeling and simulation, software development, and analytics.

Most of the work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., but some will be done in Arlington, Va. The work should be completed by Feb. 2009, DOD said.

Mantech, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 31 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
