Apptis brings on Leslie as new president

Apptis Inc. has hired Paul Leslie as its new president and chief operating officer to oversee its services business.

Leslie's hiring aligns with the company's organizational strategy to emphasize its technology services offerings while expanding its value-added reseller business as Apptis Technology Solutions, the company said.

Leslie is a 25-year federal services technology veteran who most recently was president and chief executive officer at Apogen Technologies Inc. McLean, Va.-based Apogen is a government information technology services and solutions provider focused primarily on homeland security and defense.

"Paul's focus on our services business will complement our Technology Solutions Group led by Rene LaVigne," said Bert Notini, Apptis chairman and chief executive officer.

Apptis of Chantilly, Va., ranks No. 44 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
