SAIC to reform DOD business practices

Science Applications International Corp. will help the agency in charge of transforming the business practices at the Defense Department under a new $76 million contract.

SAIC will support the Business Transformation Agency's Transformation Planning and Performance Directorate.

The Transformation Planning and Performance Directorate is responsible for maintaining and updating the architecture and transition plan to ensure they are consistent with the goals and objectives of the department.

The single-award contract has one base year and four one-year options. It was awarded by the Army Contract Agency Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center under SAIC's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions Two Services master contract.
