SI to support Army personnel operations

SI International Inc. has won a contract to support personnel and human resources operations at the U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground.

SI International Inc. has won a contract potentially worth up to $10 million to support personnel and human resources operations at the U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground. The one-year base contract has three one-year options.

Under the contract, SI International of Reston, Va., will provide a range of military personnel information system operations and personnel services for commanders, soldiers, military retirees, and their families at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Aberdeen Proving Ground serves as a center for Army materiel testing, laboratory research, and military training. Its Military Personnel Office supports more than 3,600 military personnel, 2,300 family members, and 5,000 military retirees.

SI International has provided similar services to the customer since 1999. The company ranks No. 42 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
