Apogen wins DHS operations support subcontract

Apogen Technologies won a subcontract from Science Applications International Corp. to help provide information technology support services to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Apogen Technologies won a subcontract from Science Applications International Corp. to help provide information technology support services to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement branch of the Homeland Security Department.

The $34.2 million contract has one base year and two options years.

SAIC won the task order through the Homeland Security Department's Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions program, a departmentwide acquisition contract launched a year ago.

Apogen will lead field operations and provide best practices and continuous process improvement strategies for ICE.

This win marks Apogen's fourth Eagle subcontract. Apogen of McLean, Va., is a unit of QinetiQ North America.
