Systalex gets three from Commerce

Systalex Corp. has secured three new contracts from Commerce Department agencies for information technology and financial management support services.

The three contracts, with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Census Bureau, have a combined value of more than $9 million.

Systalex has been providing IT management and federal financial management services to Commerce, NIST, NOAA and the Census Bureau under the Commerce Financial Enterprise Business System contract. The new follow-on awards are designed to continue that support and ensure a smooth transition to Commerce's planned Financial Management Modernization Project, which is scheduled for fiscal 2009, the company said.

Systalex and its partners Enterprise Systems Engineering, LSB Inc., and Accenture Inc. have had a long-standing association with those agencies.

Other Systalex government clients include the Marine Corps, the Environmental Protection Agency, and its Office of Water, Office of Air Quality and Office of Acquisition Management.

Systalex of Rockville, Md., is an 8(a) certified, minority-owned, disadvantaged business provider of information technology solutions.
