Six companies won spots on a multiple-award contract to provide technical assistance and outreach services to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Value: $27 million to $39.4 million

Contract winners: Eastern Research Group Inc., Lexington, Mass.; ICF International Inc., Fairfax, Va.; Perrin Quarles Associates Inc., Charlottesville, Va.; Research Triangle Institute, Research Triangle Park, N.C.; Science Applications International Corp; and Stratus Consulting Inc., Boulder, Colo.

Four companies have been named by the Navy to support the Commander Naval Operational Test and Evaluation Force, doing independent research and providing technical and analytical support.

Value: As much as $115.5 million over 5 years

Winners: Alion Science and Technology Corp., McLean, Va.; Northrop Grumman Corp.; Science Applications International Corp.; and Stanley Associates Inc., Alexandria, Va.

Two companies won spots on a contract from the Navy to provide equipment and network-centric services, including engineering and technical support services in development, test and evaluation, and life cycle support of communications systems, for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.

Value: Up to $420 million over 7 years

Winners: Centurum Inc., McLean, Va., and Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta.

Computer Sciences Corp.

El Segundo, Calif.

Value: $597 million over 10 years

Agency: NASA

Details: CSC's Lanham, Md., facility will provide supercomputing services to NASA's Advanced Supercomputing Division at the Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., and provide similar support and high-performance computing research to the NASA Center for Computational Sciences at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

Lockheed Martin Corp.

Bethesda, Md.

Value: $1.1 billion over 10 years

Agency: Air Force

Details: Under the Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support II contract, Lockheed Martin will provide Air Force Special Operations Command crews with custom combat training and simulation systems.

Unisys Corp.

Blue Bell, Pa.

Value: $72 million over 6 years

Agency: Chicago

Details: Unisys will expand the range of information technology outsourcing services that it provides the city to include managed services for the city's Sun Microsystems Inc. server infrastructure and modernization of network operations.
