Stanley gets Army logistics contract

Stanley Inc. will provide maintenance, supply and production control services for Army systems under a new $267 million, five-year contract.

Stanley will operate the Field Logistics Readiness Center-Campbell in Fort Campbell, Ky., and the Bluegrass Army Maintenance Activity in Lexington, Ky., for the Army's Sustainment Command, G-3, Field Logistics Readiness Division.

The company will also provide other professional logistics management services.

Stanley's partners on the contract include Eagle Support Services, SRA International, BMAR & Associates, and small businesses M&E Technical Services, Axicor Inc., Orion Technologies and Technica LLC.

The task order builds on Stanley's experience supporting the Army's major logistics and operational initiatives. Stanley currently operates Field Logistics Readiness Centers in Lumberton, N.C., and Germersheim, Germany. Both sites repair Army tactical power generation equipment and support a wide variety of other Army tactical systems under unit readiness programs.

Based in Arlington, Va., Stanley ranks No. 50 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
