Merger creates new fed consultancy

JB Cubed and Government Strategy Advisors have merged to form a new entity that will provide strategic consulting and other services for federal contractors. Called FedResults, the new firm will also offer sales and business development, marketing and government affairs services, and contract support services.

JB Cubed will continue its product resale business under its original name, according to the company. FedResults will be headquartered in the JB Cubed offices in Herndon.

JB Cubed Chief Executive Officer Jim Beaupre will continues as CEO of FedResults. William Koenig, president of Government Stratgey Advisors, will become senior vice president of strategy there.

"This merger represents a significant step in our drive to become the single source for companies seeking increased presence in the federal marketplace," Beaupre said.

"The catalyst to merge with JB Cubed was a significant and sustained increase in demand for our contracting and consulting services," Koenig said. "This merger instantly increases our ability to offer clients of both companies with the wider array of services they have requested while maintaining the personal, hands-on approach they expect."

Drawing on the strengths of the two constituent companies, FedResults will be able to develop new offers on behalf of its clients for the General Services Administration's schedule contracts. The firm will also expand those services to include other governmentwide acquisition contracts.

JB Cubed is based in Herndon, Va. Government Strategy Advisors is located in Bethesda, Md.
