CSC makes leadership changes in its Managed Services Sector

Peter Allen will assume the role of sector's acting president

Russ Owen, who served as president of Computer Sciences Corp.’s Managed Services Sector, has assumed the role of president for strategic account development, reporting to CSC Chairman, President and CEO Michael Laphen, the company announced on Sept. 16.

Peter Allen, who currently leads CSC's Global Sales and Marketing, will assume the role of acting president of the Managed Services Sector while continuing in his current function.

Allen rejoined CSC as president of strategy and business development for MSS in September 2009, after serving as partner and managing director for TPI, a global sourcing advisory firm, and as chairman and CEO of Data Dimensions.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland.

CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 11 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
