Catapult Technology hires new BD director

Catapult Technology Ltd. has hired Sonja Twiford to serve as business development director on the company’s technology and management solutions team.

In her new role, Twiford’s responsibilities include capturing new business within federal civilian agencies, executing the capture management process, and establishing business relationships with teaming partners as part of the capture strategy, the company said.

She will report to David Lyons, Catapult’s chief technology officer and the technology and management solution team’s executive vice president.

Twiford was previously the vice president of business development at DMI; additionally, she developed and maintained a pipeline for new business development, serving as vice president of business development at 1Source Consulting and Energy Enterprise Solutions.

She also has served as vice president of civilian sales at NCI Information Systems, and as federal account manager, U.S. Treasury/Homeland Security/Housing and Urban Development at Qwest Communications Government Systems division.
