Warrant-management system

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
wants a contractor to support its warrant-management
system. A request for proposals is
expected in October.

The winning contractor will provide technological
and functional
upgrades to the existing
system. The desired
improvements include a Web-based approach,
user-friendly interfaces that use Web services
such as Extensible Markup Language, auditing,
geocoding and biometrics.

Construction-management system

The California Transportation Department wants
a contractor to provide a constructionmanagement
system.

An RFP is expected in December.

The contractor must furnish a Web-based,
centralized data repository
to support department and
contractor staff. The system
must be able to track
and manage the required forms, submittals and
documentation received from contractors and
generate reports.

911 support services

The Massachusetts Public Safety Department
wants a contractor to provide 911 support services.
An RFP is expected in September.

The contractor will be responsible for monitoring,
maintaining and supporting
the state's
Enhanced 911 system.

Contractors should be capable of providing support
services associated with integrated networks,
location information and automatic number identification,
data transfer capabilities for public safety
answering points, and equipment maintenance.

Eligibility software support

The Texas Health and Human Services
Commission wants a contractor to provide software
development services
for the Texas Integrated
Eligibility Redesign System.

An RFP is expected in January 2009.

The contractor must maintain, enhance and
support the system in keeping with the commission's
mission and goals.
