Chief People Officer
Margaret Meiers serves as the Chief People Officer for Brillient Corporation. In this role, Margaret leads the company’s HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent. In addition, she oversees the team responsible for the direct delivery of HR support to Brillient’s employees.
Margaret is a highly accomplished, versatile leader with more than 25 years of experience in developing strategic human capital programs in support of business goals. Margaret has provided HR leadership as the Chief Human Resources Officer of GTT, PAE, and QBE. She also held HR leadership positions at Freddie Mac, Nextel, and Aetna. As an Associate Partner at Accenture, Margaret provided consulting and outsourcing services to Fortune 100 clients.
Margaret has also served as Vice President of the Freddie Mac Foundation, where she managed the Foundation’s investments to achieve optimal impact for both the community and for return to the corporation.
Margaret graduated from Smith College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics. She received a certificate from the Oxford University Business Economics Programme in 2000, and is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Greater Washington Graduate.
In her personal time, Margaret is dedicated to supporting non-profits in the local area. She has served on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity D.C., Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers, The Women’s Center, and Alternative House.
