Dean C. Bellamy
Senior Director, Space Strategies
Dean Bellamy is senior director, space strategies and development. In this role, he is responsible for developing long-range strategic plans to advance
objectives for the company’s space portfolio. Dean is accountable for developing requirements and acquisition strategies, as well as driving
execution of those strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Peraton, while on active duty with the U.S. Air Force, Colonel Bellamy (Ret.) was the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Chief of
Policy & Strategy Group within the Office of Policy and Strategy. In this role, he represented the NRO in interagency forums across the Department of
Defense and Intelligence Community, and was NRO liaison to the National Security Council, National Space Council, Department of State, Office of the
Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, services and agencies. He was responsible for developing and implementing space policy and strategies for our nation’s intelligence satellites.
Dean earned a master’s degree in strategic studies from the Air War College, master’s degree in aeronautical science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical
University, and master’s degree in strategic intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College. He has also attended Harvard Kennedy School
of Government’s executive leadership course and is a certified acquisitions level three program manager. Dean was recognized by the Director of the
NRO as the Jimmy D. Hill award recipient for his work across the NRO, Interagency, and the White House to strengthen protection of critical NRO
capabilities and delivery of space effects to multi-domain users.
