Thank you for attending

Thank you for attending the panel discussion and networking cocktail event on Elections 2014: The Aftermath at the Sheraton Tysons Hotel, Tysons Corner. A panel of government and industry experts discussed the impact of the 2014 midterm elections on government contractors.

Whether the GOP takes the Senate or if Congress remains a house-divided, there are a plethora of issues that will impact the business of government contracting including:

  • What are the budget and funding implications?
  • Will procurement reform become a priority?
  • Will sequestration return with a vengeance?
  • What are the prospects of a government shutdown in 2015 or 2016?
  • If compromise is possible, what will it look like?

The panel explored these issues and more, plus our interactive format gave the audience plenty of opportunities to share their thoughts and discuss what the next 18 months might bring for government contractors.
