We saw several executive moves across the market this week. Here is a round up of several.

One hire of a new chief executive and two other C-level appointments at federal contractors were among the several executive moves we saw in the market this week.

Govplace

The government IT reseller and systems integrator appointed a new CEO in Simone Feldman, a 17-year federal market veteran of large and small businesses.

Feldman most recently was vice president of the technology business unit at Three Wire Systems.

She has also worked in leadership roles at Mercom and Force 3, the latter of which is now Sirius Federal.

Leonardo DRS

The defense technology company promoted nearly two-decade defense market veteran Cari Ossenfort to senior vice president and general manager of the naval electronics business unit.

Ossenfort elevates to that role from the corporate vice president ranks and will be responsible for operations, programs, business strategy and future growth opportunities at the unit.

Most recently, she was corporate VP of operational excellence and quality with responsibility for company-wide improvement initiatives and other standardization efforts.

She joined Leonardo DRS in 2019 from her prior role then as vice president and general manager for the L3 Technologies infrared products group.

NetCentrics

The provider of cybersecurity services to federal agencies hired a new chief growth officer in Michael Zembrzuski, a nearly four-decade veteran of government and industry.

Zembrzuski’s role at the company will combine marketing, sales, services and finance as drivers of business growth.

His career in industry includes service as chief growth officer at Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, executive vice president and manager of CACI’s intelligence business group, and executive vice president and equity partner at Six3 Systems.

Before all of that, he served as an Army officer in a career that included work with national security leadership at the cabinet and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff levels.

Red River Technology

The IT systems integrator named a new chief financial officer in Warren Kohm, a 25-year public sector veteran most recently at Alion Science and Technology.

Kohm most recently supported Alion through its sale to Huntington Ingalls Industries, and prior to that the acquisition of MacAulay-Brown in 2018.

His career also includes leadership roles at Capgemini’s government business, CGI Federal-AMS and Booz Allen Hamilton.
